Wow! My daughter loves her new school! Her teacher is so interactive and alive and truly loves to teach. You can see it in her eyes. She tells me new stories everyday about what her teacher said or showed them that day! This is what ALL teachers should be doing!! Way to go Imperial! Awesome school! Most are very courteous and wonderful, staff and teachers. Front office is always nice to you and helpful!

My son is going into 6th grade this year. He really enjoys going to Imperial and has had awesome teachers every year. The only complaint I have, is sometimes the principal is too involved in certain asspects of the school. I think the school could do more or have more activities, esp. for the older students, if that wasn't the case. She's great with disipline and teaching children character, but students need more activities to participate in.

I LOVE THIS SCHOOL. THE TEACHER INVOLVMENT WAS GREAT THIS YEAR. MY SON WAS INKINDERGARTEN AND THE TEACHER MADE ME FEEL AT EASE AT ALL TIMES. SHE REALLY CARED FOR HER STUDENTS AND THE CONCERNS THAT WE HAD FOR MY CHILD. WE RECENTLY MOVED OUT OF DISTRICT AND IM AM SO UPSET THAT HE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND NEXT YEAR. I RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYONE IF THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO LIVE I SAY GO TO IMPERIALS DISTRICT THEY ARE GREAT.

Please do the best thing for your child and find another school. I never felt my child was safe at this school. The principal is not the role model you want for your young children and the teachers ( in my experience) were not receptive to parent involvement at all.

By 5th grade, the relationship between parent and teacher should begin to change. 5th graders should begin to develop a little independence and would benefit from helicopter parents learning to take a step back. If teachers are providing weekly newsletters, regular edline updates and occasional chats, that seems more than enough. As far as volunteers not being treated well, I think that blanket statement is unfair. I have volunteered there on a regular basis for several years and I have always felt welcome and appreciated.

The leadership at the top level has not been consistent like it did years past. The dicipline level also has dropped. Too many administrators and teachers children in the school and the favortism shows. The administrators always side with the teachers no matter if they are wrong. The volunteers are not treated well.

Once your child hits the 5th grade, it seems to go downhill. We're doing fine academically but the relationship between the parent and teacher has definitely changed. We are definitely being communicated to less and being surprised more. The PTO is almost non-existent and we really aren't given an opportunity to do much, they aren't tapping into the community at all - not even with charitable causes.

I think imperial estates is a great school they deserve better than a 7. I think the principle is awesome Mrs. Green has done a wonderful job all the staff is caring and pleasant. My daughter has improved dramatically. The teaching staff is great they care about the child and how well the succeed its more to them than just a job. Its hard to find teachers that care anymore.

A wonderful school, with caring teachers and involved parents. The success of each student is at the top of both the teachers and administrations list of priorities.

I love this school. It has great administration, Stephanie Green is an amazing principal. The surrounding area is growing so fast that there are tons more students this year. Still, it's a great school with wonderful teachers.
